Nothing Can Save Me (From Myself)

This music video came out at the end of October in 2022. It was filmed at my Grandparents house in Upstate New York in the village of Hobart. The video was inspired by the feelings of being stuck in the shadow of your own doubt.

Turn Off This Song (Before It Takes Your Soul)

This music video came out on October 5th, 2022. It is set in a dystopian future. The video was inspired by the novels “We” by Yevgeny Zamyatin and “1984” by George Orwell. When I heard the song I immediately got dystopian moods from the lyrics and definitely wanted to pull from that. We filmed at a warehouse type location in Los Angeles, last year. The video is suppose to give you the sense that one is being watched and one is the watcher. That one is being controlled and one is the controller.

Pins and Needles

This music video came out on July 27th, 2022. It is set in a New York City Subway. The lead singer and I woke up at 2am to film in an empty subway car and at subway stops. I wanted this video to make the viewer feel uneasy and anxious. To give a sense of hanging, just a bit too much, over the edge.

The Price of Life Itself

This music video came out on June 29th, 2022. It was filmed back in 2021 at a location in Los Angeles. I wanted the warm colors of the clothing to juxtapose the cooler tones of green throughout the house. This video is meant to feel like you are moving around the house with Moon Walker, seeing what he sees, exploring the space together.

I’m Afraid I’ll Go To Heaven

This music video came out on May 25th, 2022. It was filmed at a real bar in Denver, Colorado. This video was heavily influenced by some scenes from The Shinning. I wanted this video to feel angry as much as eerie.

DOOMBOX

This music video recently came out on February 25th. It was filmed in Los Angeles using several smoke bombs. I wrote the video using inspiration from the myth surrounding Pandora’s box. Curiosity leads them to the “doombox”, which releases disease (or sickness), trickery (or hallucinations), and anger (or fighting). The “doombox’ has a way of sticking around.

The Hollywood Machine

This music video came out on December 10th, 2020. It was filmed at four different locations in downtown Los Angeles and several areas in Hollywood. The lead singer and I co-wrote the video which was inspired by revealing the truth behind the facade.

Disturbed Suburbia

Disturbed suburbia had been two words that bounced around in my head until they found a home, as the title of a new song and music video. I had the opportunity to collaborate with the band Moon Walker. The lead singer and I co-wrote, directed, and filmed the video. Inspired by the constant advertisement of pharmaceutical drugs and the nauseating sameness of suburbia.

Working with Moon Walker

The band Moon Walker and I have collaborated to create these two music videos. Both were filmed in one day in the same rented space. The wall was made out of various old televisions enhancing the backdrop. These videos allowed us to play with a variety of camera angles and lighting that affected the videos overall tone.

A Covid-19 Concoction: Staying In Music Video

At the beginning of COVID I began to learn how to express stories through photographs. I started experimenting with color gels in order to tell a vivid story about diverse emotions, which I turned into a project called Rainbow of Emotions. This project incorporated strong color in order to intensify the emotion in the photos. My prior project also inspired me to use color gels in my first music video. The Midnight Club band’s song, Staying In, portrayed the difficulties in lockdown during the pandemic. The entire music video was filmed in a half bathroom in East Los Angeles. This small space enhanced the feeling of being stuck inside with nowhere to go.
